What Fees To Expect In Nutrition Counseling

First Office Visit $450

At your initial consultation with Dr. Shaw, a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner and board-Certified Clinical Nutritionist, you will go through a complete medical history and exam, followed by an exploration of your health-related goals and concerns. Blood work and diagnostic tests will be ordered at this visit. Focus of diagnostic testing is placed on confirming clinical suspicions from your medical history and answering:

  • What is your diagnosis & What is causing your symptom presentation?
  • Can you be helped?
  • How long will it take?
  • How much will it cost?
  • How much improvement should you expect?

Second Visit (Treatment Plan) $550

After all of your information has been gathered (history, exam, and in some cases blood work or other lab tests), an office visit will be scheduled to discuss your treatment plan. This second visit is designed to educate you on your health imbalances, specific disease risks and how they relate to your primary symptoms.

Your treatment plan consists of a detailed discussion and education on what the right diet is for you and how that diet change coupled with the nutritional intervention / tailored vitamin therapies will correct your health concerns and change your life positively. Therapeutic vitamin therapies are used in conjunction with your new diet to correct the imbalances identified with your diagnostic testing. Dr. Shaw will be providing you with both your new diet and vitamin regimen at this visit.

Dr. Shaw's Consultation Fees

  • 1st Visit (Comprehensive medical history and ordering tests): $450
  •  2nd Visit (Treatment Plan): $550 + Cost of Vitamin Therapies
  •  Follow Up Visits: $85 + Vitamins (Usually Monthly)
